Free Initial Consultation

Often it feels like a big step to involve someone else in the design of your garden. We therefore offer a free initial consultation, which comprises a short discussion with you at your home, where we can see the garden and find out exactly what you want to achieve. Following this, you will be provided with a written quotation for any work you would like to have undertaken, giving you lots of options as to how we can proceed to make your garden dreams become a reality.

Garden Consultation

This is an ideal service if you have a garden you are reasonably happy with but which is maybe feeling a little tired or just not a space you can enjoy. Maybe you have had work done to your house, and the garden no longer suits the building? We offer a garden consultation, which will last between 3-4 hours, during which we will give you advice on how to re-vamp your garden, from suggestions for a totally new layout (if required) through to simpler solutions such as new planting areas or ideas to complement what is already in situ. A fresh pair of eyes combined with an open mind can work wonders. Ahead of the visit, we will have discussed the broad aims and requirements for your garden, either by phone or email questionnaire, which enables us to go into much more detail on the day. We’ll discuss favourite colours, plants, pets, views from the house, desired features, maintenance – everything that will go into the recipe to create your perfect garden.

On site, I will suggest planting combinations, possible changes in layout, ways in which you can add colour, movement and joy without breaking the bank. It would be good to have a notebook ready to jot down ideas and plant names.

Session charge: from £250

We can also provide a written summary of the consultation along with images of key plant suggestions, or full planting plans if required. The price for this will be dependent on the level of detail required. 

Border Re-design

You may already know exactly what you want to change in your garden, and here we can offer a complete re-design service for existing borders. I will discuss your likes and dislikes as far as colours and plant types are concerned, look at where the border sits in relation to the house and how it can be planned to maximise its appeal. After a site visit to take measurements, look at the existing situation and other aspects of the garden, you will receive a full planting plan for the border with the type, number and location of each plant required. I will also draw up a care plan so you will know how to look after the border once it has been planted up.

Full Design Service

It may be that once you start looking at your garden with a critical eye, you decide that actually what you really want is to pull everything out and start again from scratch. We offer a full design service, beginning with a questionnaire, consultation and site surveys, and culminating in scale drawings and planting plans which you can use to create the garden of your dreams.
